My birthday came and went last March, and I'm getting OLD, SOOOOO OOOOOOOLD!!!! Okay, I'm fine, I know I'm really not getting that old, but it seems like just yesterday that I was nineteen, and not even thinking about things like kids, careers, the fact that my body doesn't move like it did when I was seventeen, and mature things like that...I mean....WHHYYYYYYYYYY, WHY AM I ALREADY THERE!
I'm fine.
Seriously though, I had a great birthday this year. Normally on my birthday I celebrate with my dad, who I am lucky enough to share a birthday with. I did miss him this year being so far away from home, but luckily I have good friends to fill the void!
My cousin-in-laws were sweet enough to throw a little birthday lunch for Callie and I, who both had a birthday that week. It was a lot of fun, and lots of yummy food!
On my actual birthday Glenn made me the biggest birthday cake known to man, and it made for the perfect dinner! He was really sweet on my birthday, and didn't let me lift a finger.
I also enjoyed several phone calls, visits and sweet gestures from friends and family who were so sweet to remember me on my birthday. It was a wonderful week and I so appreciated it!
