Daddy's girl

Since the day Jayda was born, there has been no doubt in my mind that she was going to be a daddy's girl. He is perfect in her eyes, and she wakes up in the morning just for her daddy. I don't mind, I think it's sweet, and Glenn loves it. I remember as a little girl looking at my dad as my unbreakable hero, and in many ways, I still do.

So it was no surprise to me when picking Jayda up from the gym daycare, to hear that when playing with the Barbies, she will carry around the Ken doll and introduce it to everyone as her daddy. The Ken doll is dark, tall, and shirtless, with abs and pecs like most men would only dream about! Glenn was thrilled. If only I could be Barbie!

(I'm sorry, I tried to find a picture, but it's hard to find a picture of a Ken doll that isn't controversial, yikes).
