My baby is four! It's so hard to believe that it's even possible. We originally planned to have his party at the park, but the temp spiked and we thought having it at the pool would be a bit more comfortable. It ended up being an absolutely fabulous day. The weather was great and the company was better.
Our balloons tried to escape. Luckily we had a balloon rescue squad in our midst.
Aubrey and Jack. I haven't taken any pics yet, but for the last few months, Jack has spent a day a week with us. Him and Sky are the same age and from a distance it's tough to tell them apart. We love having him with us, and lucky for me, his mom is quite a rockstar too!
Our friends and family! I didn't get a better picture, but my Aunt Carla was also able to be there. Tiff was about to have a baby, so the timing worked out great. We loved getting to spend the day with her as well as everyone else who came.
After his party, we went home for presents. The feature gift was his new scooter, which we try to get out as much as possible. For dinner he twisted my arm to gourmet up some mac and cheese and hot dogs. The things I do for my kids, haha!
And now a few things about my Sky. He's definitely all boy, but is also a very sweet and fairly quiet kid. He's very affectionate and tells me daily that he loves me, as well as passing kisses on the leg as he walks by. He doesn't ask for much, especially during our quiet days when Jayda is in school. He's very happy to stay home and work on his puzzles or legos. He is very patient and will spend two to three days putting a 500 piece puzzle together. He's a bright kid who enjoys learning, singing, and listening to stories. He will be starting preschool this year and I'm excited to see how he does.
We're just nuts about this kid. Happy birthday Skyler!
