One More Down, Six to Go

For some reason, this year I really took my New Year's resolutions seriously, probably because I typed them up and hung them on my desk where they are staring me in the face everyday, but still. For those of you that remember, I made a list at the beginning of the year. After making that list, I added about ten more, and the exciting thing is that I'm actually able to start crossing some off. We've gotten rid of some debt, I've already exceeded in reading the books I want to read, we've been reading the scriptures more (thanks to Jayda), and this is my latest accomplishment...

My friend and I started these last year, and I had done two for my mom and mother-in-law,
but I had two more to do, and the older I get, the more I can't stand unfinished projects. They are event calendars to record yearly events like anniversaries and birthdays, and then you use them year after year. I really wanted one for myself, and one for my sister, and I finally got mine finished, and I even got Jackie's sent off to her! Anyway, these are my favorite months. They were fun to do, and kind of gave me the scrapping bug again, but it's going to have to wait until we move because most of my stuff is already packed! I still have quite a few more resolutions to accomplish, but hey, the year is only half over!
