Pocatello and I have always had a bit of a love/hate relationship, but now that we're getting ready to go, I've started to really cling to the things that I've grown to love about Poky. One of those things is how accessible nature walks and trails are here. And they're so pretty! We've been taking our kids to Cherry Springs, which is a little nature trail about 20 minutes from our house, and it's always a lot of fun. The kids love to see the water and go over the bridges and pick up sticks. Jayda discovered that Cherry Springs has "magic sticks"...
But that magic stick was too small, and not sufficient for her, so she found a better one...
She found it too upsetting that Skyler should be rendered helpless without his own magic stick, so she found him one too. He found it very helpful, (and tasty!)
And of course, where would Mommy be without her magic stick! Together we were all powerful!
After a long day of searching and walking, Jayda was exhausted, so she put her magic stick away, and rested for a while.

She is so stinkin cute, that girl. She reminds me of Cara- I think those two would get along just swimmingly! ;)
