Well, it's been a LONG day of packing, but, we've made some good progress and it looks like we're going to be done a lot sooner the expected! So, since we've packed most of our belongings, we are staying with my parents until we head out on Monday. Anyway, now that I get a break, I'm going to do a little blogging!
My friend Karey surprised me a few weeks ago by stopping in to say hi with her cutie Chris. She's gotten way into bicycle racing (hopefully those races will take her back east) and was visiting in Poky for a race. She lives in Oregon right now and is doing awesome. It was great to see her! She's actually hunching over in this picture while I stand on my tippies, I'm so short!

In My Humble Opinion...

Five Years
Five years ago today Glenn and I got married in the IF temple. It is crazy to look at this picture now and think of all that has happened in the last five years. Two kids, two homes, several jobs, and now, a huge move across the country. The funny thing is, even with all that has already happened in five years, I still feel like we have only just begun. I feel so lucky to be married to Glenn, I love you babe!

Trying to Get Caught Up!
Well, we got back from San Diego last Saturday, and we had a blast. Usually on most vacations I'm ready to go home, this time they had to take me kicking and screaming. There is just something about those beaches! Anyway, we now have a week and a half to pack all of our junk and move across the country. Scattered in that time, we have several events already planned, including our five year anniversary. The reason I am telling you all of this is because it may be a while until I can get myself caught up on the HUGE amount of pictures and events I need to blog. There's a chance that it won't happen until we are settled in Philly. I'm sorry, but I'm kind of lazy, and I don't like to be under a lot of pressure!
In the meantime, I hope your summer has been fun so far, and I hope it continues to treat you well. If you are a Poky person, we're outta here on July 28th, so don't hesitate to call or stop by. I would love to see as many people as possible before we go!

Very Patriotic
Since we were leaving early the morning right after the fourth, we decided to keep it really simple. We didn't go see the show, we didn't do a BBQ, just made some lemon bars, put the kids down and lit a few fireworks of our own.
I don't know if it was the heat, or too many lemon bars that inspired this, but yes, that is me, in my front yard, in my notorious cloud pajama pants, running around with sparklers like a fool. I have no clue what got us to that point, it could have been the fact that we're about to move and we just needed to go out with a bang. Either way it was fun, and we laughed our heads off. Happy Independance Day!

Friend Reunion
Jayda in Anna's swimming pool.
Anna showing Landon and Kylie Gigi's teeth.
Janna, Audrey, Kristine and Christina
Skyler and Gigi. Skyler could not get enough of this sweet puppy, and Gigi was such a good sport about it.
The kids having fun on the air mattress in one of the guest bedrooms.
We had reservations at PF Changs and ended up waiting for twenty minutes. It was a bummer at the time, but we were fine after recieving lots of free appetizers!
Dinner at PF Changs turned out to be a surprise baby shower for Anna and DJ who are expecting their first baby in November, CONGRATULATIONS!
Glenn and I straining to get in the picture together!
Jill and I were roommates almost ten years ago in college. We had so much fun back then, and just as much fun hanging out here!
All of us in front of PF Changs. Thanks so random strangers willing to take our pictures!
DJ (Anna's husband) was so good with the kids, here he is helping Skyler play the organ they have in their home.
Anna took us downtown where there was an amazing Farmer's Market surrounding this fountain. It was fun watching the kids play in the water.
Janna swinging Audrey in the water.
Me and Skyler
Glenn swinging Jayda, she thought it was great!
