I got my hair done today, one of my favorite things to do! My stylist was kind enough to show me how to curl my hair without making me look like a blast from the 80's. You like?

Time to SLOOOW DOWN...
I'm so tired. Just feeling a little beat down, ya know? Not for any particular reason. And in the light of finals week, which all of my friends and family are suffering through, I really have nothing to complain about. But gosh, I'm ready for a day off. Do you ever feel completely overwhelmed by all the little tasks that you have to do. It's not necessarily the little tasks, it's just that there are HUNDREDS of little tasks and you don't even know where to start. So in the meantime, I'm choosing to ignore all of the little tasks and rather sit here and complain about them to you! Two more days left this week and I have four wonderful work-free days to look forward to.
I would write more, but in all honesty, I really don't know what to write. I'm sure I will have more for you soon. In the meantime, I will display more pictures that I like, and while some of them probably require and explanation, I just don't have it in me tonight. Most of them come from last summer. I hope you enjoy!

Merry Christmas!
I love Christmas time, SO MUCH! It is easily my favorite time of the year for so many reasons. I know that everyone feels like Christmas time is the most stressful time of year, but I feel the opposite. I think Christmas is when people are the happiest, probably because that's all I chose to see. I love everything about it. I love to shop for presents. I love to try and pick out the perfect gift for someone. I love to wrap presents while I listen to the Carpenter's Christmas CD. I love to decorate, I love the cold. I love the smell of Christmas candles and pine trees. I love the parties, and singing Christmas carols. But, hands down, what I love most about Christmas...is the FOOD! I love eating it, I love making it, I love smelling it, I love to deliver it. I LOVE holiday food and I love to bake. I've been in my kitchen for the last three hours this morning making peppermint bark, fugde, mint truffle cookies, salted peanut bars, and peanut butter kiss cookies and I've been having the best day ever. There is just nothing like it, especially when KLCE is playing Christmas music 24/7. I hope everyone else is having a very enjoyable Christmas!!

Little timeline for you
Well, I figured the best way to catch everyone up to speed would be to do a "photo timeline" of our family since Glenn and I got married. Forgive me if I bombard you with pictures, there were so many to chose from that it was hard to leave some of them out!
Before we were married...

July 19, 2003

Just the two (three), of us!
San Francisco trip with some good friends of ours. I'm five months preggo, pre-swollen feet!
Pregnant, swollen, and amazingly uncomfortable with our first baby girl! (June '05)

Jayda Nicole Green! 6lbs, 12oz

Photos of Jayda and family, including her blessing.
Glenn and his family at the 2005 Green reunion
My baby sister, Jackie, gets married to Carlos Amaya!
This is my brother Jeremy, who we adopted at the tender age of 22. He loves him some mayonnaise!
Gosh, who can resist those blue eyes!
My college graduation lunch! I'm an offical licensed social worker. My prize was getting whipped cream in the face. I should have taken it as a sign!
Boating, the Johnson family's favorite pasttime, as well as ours!
Jayda and her Grandma Irma.
Every year my mom, sister and I go to SLC for a girl's trip. It is without a doubt one of my favorite times, and I'm really going to miss it!
Jayda's first time in the pool!

Kendall and Deanna's wedding!
Pregnant with our little boy, Skyler!

Skyler Glenn Green, 7lbs, 10oz. (May 30, 2007)
Grandma Johnson with Jayda and Skyler

Jayda's two year old birthday party, which she shares with her aunt Keisha. You'll notice our failed attempt at getting a decent family picture.
Our little smiley boy!
So that's a little glimpse into the last four years of our lives. Since our laptop suddenly decided to cop an attitude with us, I can't post newer pics right now, but I will work on getting Halloween and Thanksgiving pics up asap. Hope you enjoyed my little trip down memory lane! I know I did.
