Mother's Day was cool, but kind of hard, because it was the last time our family got to be together for quite a while. Greg is moving off to Oregon in a matter of days, Kendall and Dee are in DC, Jackie is already back in Ogden, and by the summer, we'll be in Philly. It's the natural part of growing up, but I don't know if that makes it easier!
Anyway, on Wednesday we had Mother's Day for our mom at my house. We had a nice dinner and gave her the special plate. It's a tradition that we've had in our family since I was young. Whoever get's the special plate gets to hear everyone around the table tell them why they think they are special. It probably sounds cheesy, but it's actually really cool. Back in the day they used to be kind of goofy ("I think you're special cuz you're a beast!") nowadays, they usually turn into tearfests!a>
