* We got into the whole Netflix craze about a month ago, and so we've been watching movies and TV shows like crazy. This explains why I keep mentioning old movies that were released in 2001! Speaking of which, you need to watch I Am David. A friend recommended this movie to me about a year and a half ago! I wrote down the title (I have to write down where I live half the time, otherwise I'd forget), and months later, put it on my Netflix Queue. It's a great movie, rated PG. I won't tell you anything about it, except, if you have any interest in WWII, the holocaust, or anything like that, you will love it. Plus it's got Jim Caveziel in it...HOTT!
* This is my new favorite book of all time...

Now that I get to stay home, I have been baking, a lot! It's getting to the point that I may need to start making deliveries, because I'm EATING as much as I'm baking. I didn't know where to start, so I pretty much just started at the beginning of the book and I'm now working my way in. My goal is to finish the whole thing in a year. Okay, maybe not, but I sure wouldn't mind it!

* My sister came into town yesterday. It was so fun to see her. I only have one sister, and for some crazy reason, she's decided to live in Ogden (I've got her trumped though, because I'm moving to Philadelpia next!) Anyway, we always have such a blast when we get to see each other. We started by having lunch with my mom at Food for Thought. The instant we get together we have so much fun and probably laugh as much as we talk. I love how close the three of us are and how comfortable we feel together. After lunch, we made a pit stop at Red Hot Roasters, a new coffee shop/cafe in town. They are famous for their Tomato Bisque, which Jackie and I had yet to try. It was SOOOOO good. If you live in
Pocatello, and you even KIND OF like tomato soup, you have to go
try it, it will change your life! :-)
Anyway, later that night the whole family came over for some Chinese food, some conversation, and some Arrested Development. It was so fun. If I could, I would spend everyday with my family. I feel so lucky to belong to such an incredible group of people. My parents are so accessible and helpful people who I love to visit with and share ideas. And my siblings have all become such strong and unique indivuals who have so much going for them. I'm so proud of them all. It makes me sad to think that we're moving away from them, but it also makes me excited about seeing them even more.
*Those are my random thoughts for you at this random time of night. I will have more randomness as well as not so random pics coming your way. (I'll give you a sucker if you can tell me how many times I used random in this post. Okay, I really won't, but I will give you a cookie, you have to come over and get it though. If you're one of my vegan friends, I'll give you a carrot, or maybe some hummus, I could ramble all night...!)
