Memorial Day Weekend

We had a very fun and eventful Memorial Day weekend. Glenn was completely free and undistracted, so we soaked up as much of that as we could. We started by going to Sesame Place for Skyler's birthday. My little munchkin is now three, what's up with that! He's such a sweet kid. His very favorite thing in the whole world to do are his puzzles, and he's really good at them, so we try to encourage that as much as possible. He also loves his trains and all things manly!

We saw the Elmo show, it was cute.

That night we enjoyed an evening of bowling for Angela's birthday (the one holding the baby, but not her baby). Some nights I bowl well, some I don't, this was not my night, but we still had a wonderful time!

Saturday we went to the Flavor of Philly fest which is held at the Renaissance Fair. We missed out on about half of it since we weren't going to be wining or boozing, but we still got to sample a ton of delicious food, including some killer nachos (oh Mexican food, why didn't you follow me to the east?)

Sunday we had our friends the Miller's over for the last time. We've become so close with this family that we had to squeeze in all the together time that we could before they left. After a while we would joke that this REALLY was the last time, even though we knew we'd manage another one in. Coincidentally Sky's real birthday was that day too, so we were sure to have cake and ice cream for him.

Can't have a birthday without a picture of the birthday boy having a meltdown!

And then on the actual day of Memorial Day we simply enjoyed being outside, grillin, chillin, and eating with friends. We got to play in the water and play some great games. It was a very fun weekend and very hard to give Glenn back to Temple!
