The day our parents came into town, we took it pretty slow. We got them checked into their hotel, and did some exploring, including a lunch of cheesesteaks at the King of Prussia mall. It was fun to show them our place and a little bit of where we live. They picked up Jackie late that night at the airport.
The next day, which was Mother's Day, we celebrated by sleeping in and taking it slow. It was so great to have my own Mommy in town for Mother's Day and we did a little celebrating by having a fun Mother's Day brunch. Afterwards we went on a beautiful walk through Fairmount Park.
We did our real celebrating that night though when we all went out to see these guys.
I've been slightly obsessed with Il Divo since discovering them a year ago. They are opera singers who do more contemporary songs. I've had their music on my blog for quite a while now. They are all from different countries and were apparently signed by Simon Cowell. They are pretty much a boy band for grown women, and I've been hooked. The concert was great and they sounded amazing in person! Glenn opted not to come, apparently not an opera fan!
