Very Patriotic

Since we were leaving early the morning right after the fourth, we decided to keep it really simple. We didn't go see the show, we didn't do a BBQ, just made some lemon bars, put the kids down and lit a few fireworks of our own.















I don't know if it was the heat, or too many lemon bars that inspired this, but yes, that is me, in my front yard, in my notorious cloud pajama pants, running around with sparklers like a fool. I have no clue what got us to that point, it could have been the fact that we're about to move and we just needed to go out with a bang. Either way it was fun, and we laughed our heads off.
