Books

I'm really trying to read more, and I'm really enjoying it. There's something so much more fulfilling about reading a book then watching tv and movies. Not to mention, there's a sense of accomplishment that comes with reading. So I'm making a list of all the books I'd like to read, and own. But, not having much time to spend in Barnes and Nobles, I would love it if you would share with me books that you are enjoying. And I will do the same. Here are some of my recent books.


The Glass Castle is definitely my style of book. It's an autobiography of Jeanette Walls who is now a journalist. It is probably one of the best books I've ever read. She has an AMAZING story to tell. Check it out, you won't be able to put it down.


I have the feeling that most of you have already heard about these books because I talk about them SO MUCH. The Twilight series initially struck me as the opposite of what I would enjoy in a book, so I wasn't too motivated to read them. Fortunately, my friend dropped the first one off to me before my vacation to Jackson. Once I started, I couldn't stop and I neglected my family for about a week to finish all three books. If I described the books, they might sound a little bizarre and scare any potential readers off, so just read them!



My "law school bound" brother read this book and suggested it to me, going as far as to drop it by my house. It's again, not really my style of book, but I've been surprised at how much I've been enjoying it. It's not written by Grisham, but it's got similarities in the style, maybe just a little edgier. I'm about halfway through this one.

Of course I've read many books, especially when I was younger and not not chasing kids around quite as much, but these are some of my recent reads. I've started several books, but couldn't bring myself to finish it. I'm not one of those people that HAS to finish a book once it's started, if it bores me, I drop it. Life is just too short. So anyway, I'd love to hear what you are reading so I can add it to my list. Let's hear your suggestions!
